While certain states require certain features, ALL National Rx Security prescription pads have the following features: Micro Printing, Secure Background Color, Screen, Thermocratic ink, Security Ink. Micro Printing references the microscopic lettering that appears in the border of each prescription blank. The Secure Background Color of every National Rx Script is a special patterned green color (Prescriptions for the state of New Jersey are blue). If attempting to copy a National Rx prescription, a Screen showing the word “VOID” will appear. Thermocratic Ink refers to a special area on the back of each blank where there is an image of a thumbprint. When rubbed vigorously, the word “SAFE” becomes visible. Each script is also equipped with Security Ink, preventing erasures and/or alterations by solvents. Every National Rx Security prescription pad is printed using recycled paper and soy ink.
