A couple of weeks ago, our blog reflected our support of an incredible non-profit, Give Kids the World. Today we ask you for your vote. Give Kids the World is in the running to win the Pepsi Refresh Project, offering a $250,000 grant to a non-profit with fresh ideas, making a positive impact on the community. Currently, Give Kids the World is in 10th place.
Give Kids the World provides a “home away from home” for seven magical days to more than 7,000 families a year. Each wish child has the opportunity to spend time with his or her family, visiting theme parks, playing in the onsite castle, having character parties, eating ice cream for breakfast, and so much more.
Many of the villas that families stay in are now more than 20 years old. Give Kids the World would love to improve the existing villas so that each is as special and inviting as the newest ones that were built in 2009. The Pepsi Refresh grant would provide the funding for this project, making each family’s Villa and Village experience perfect and memorable.
