National Rx Security was founded on the principle of working together for a better community. Our product, the tamper resistant prescription blank, supports this mission by providing physicians with confidence and security, while at the same time combatting prescription drug abuse. Additionally, National Rx Security enjoys working toward this vision by giving back to populations in need, further bolstering the community at large. Our company supports a variety of not-for-profit organizations, one of which- Give Kids the World- is headquartered in our own backyard. National Rx Security would like to take this opportunity to recognize this incredible organization.
The mission of Give Kids the World is to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world. They accomplish this by providing memorable cost-free visits to Central Florida attractions, accompanied with star-like treatment at the Give Kids the World Village. Families enjoy a magical one week stay at the village, free of doctor visits and hospitals, and full of fun and laughter. Since opening in 1989, GIve Kids the World has welcomed more than 100,000 wish-children and their families from all 50 states, and 70 countries.
Prior to making a financial contribution to Give Kids the World, the owners of National Rx Security and employees traveled to Central Florida to volunteer as ‘angels’ in the Give Kids the World Village for a couple of days. Each day offered a special opportunity to see dreams come true among children and families. All of us at National Rx Security would like to thank Give Kids the World for their inspiring vision, and we look forward to continually supporting them as another way of ‘working together for a better community.’
